We first met as teenagers in Roosevelt, Long Island, New York, where we both graduated high school in 1983. Though life led us in different directions, God had a plan to bring our paths together again—40 years later. In 2013, we both attended our 30th high school reunion, though we didn’t realize it at the time. Larry noticed Lea, but she didn’t see him. Years later, a photo revealed that we had actually taken a group picture together that night—a sign that God was orchestrating something greater. Nearly a decade later, in December 2022, Larry came across Lea’s live ministry on Facebook. He reached out in a private message, but Lea didn’t see it until February 1, 2023, after returning from a break from social media. That single response turned into long conversations about God, faith, and our testimonies.

In April, Larry drove from South Carolina to meet Lea face-to-face, and by May, they were engaged. On November 11, 2023, they became husband and wife.
